Pendleton most recently staged Classic Stage Company's starry production of Uncle Vanya. The Williams work officially opens May 27 and will run through June 14. The cast features Rachel Botchan as Jane, Sean McNall as The Writer, and Carol Schultz as Mrs. Wire, Beth Dixon as Mary, Joseph Collins as Tye, George Morfogen as Nightingale, Pamela Payton-Wright as Carrie, Christian Pedersen as Sky and Claudia Robinson as Nursie.

Vieux Carré, according to Pearl, "thrusts the audience into the deep shadows of a dilapidated New Orleans boarding house. The play is a raw and vulnerable look into a world of outcasts and their mechanisms for survival."

The Pearl production will have scenic design by Harry Feiner, costume design by Barbara A. Bell, lighting design by Stephen Petrilli, and sound design by Jane Shaw.

For tickets phone (212) 598-9802. The Pearl Theatre Company is located at 80 St. Marks Place (at First Avenue) in the East Village.
