The comedic duo Penn & Teller are performing at the Shubert Theatre in Boston through Feb. 15. They, of course, are up to their old tricks -- which means they're serving up hearty portions of their own special brand of offbeat practical jokes and onstage "miracles."

The pair, who have performed three major NY engagements both on and Off-Broadway (including Penn & Teller: The Refrigerator Tour and Penn & Teller Rot in Hell), play evil magicians 'Paine' and 'Terrore' on the Steven Spielberg CD-ROM "Director's Chair." In addition, they have won an Emmy for the PBS special "Penn & Teller Go Public."

The Shubert Theatre is at 265 Tremont St. in Boston. For tickets, $22.50-$49.50, call (800) 447-7400.
