Performances of Ellington will be held Dec. 13-14.

Scheduled to perform are David Berger Jazz Orchestra, Tony nominee Norm Lewis, Priscilla Baskerville, Jason Samuels Smith and Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Under the musical direction of David Berger, this holiday presentation, according to press notes, will include "excerpts from Duke Ellington’s The Nutcracker Suite, featuring jazz interpretations of the original Tchaikovsky composition arranged by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, and an excerpt from Ellington’s Sacred Music Concert. With narration by actor Norm Lewis, the two-part program will also feature singers and Priscilla Baskerville, tap dancer Jason Samuels Smith, a mass gospel choir of over 50 voices, and Dance Theatre of Harlem."
