The principal cast includes David Elder (recently of WST's Windy City) returning to the role of Billy after playing it for four years in the Broadway revival; Susan Cella as fading diva Dorothy Brock; and Cara Cooper (The Wedding Singer) as newbie hoofer Peggy Sawyer, who has to step in for the ailing star of a new Broadway show.
Longtime Walnut favorite Charles Abbott directs. Mary Jane Houdina choreographs the tap-happy show. Douglass G. Lutz is musical director.
The cast also includes Katie O'Shaughnessey as Anytime Annie, Bill Bateman as Bert Barry and Diane Findlay as Maggie Jones, with Marc Kessler, George Dvorsky, Valerie Jane Smith, John Peakes, Melanie Allen, Nina Fluke, Deven Marie Miller, Jenny Lee Ramos, Robert Abdoo, Megan Nicole Arnoldy, Kevin Deitzler, Kelley Faulkner, William Hartery, Jennifer Jancuska, Kerri Rose Jenkins, Mike Kirsch, Sonny Leo, Jennifer Renee Morris, Ken Nelson, Nathan Peck, Jennifer Rias, Peter John Rios, Brandon Rubendall, Michael Susko and Molly Walsh.
