News Phil's Friday Night Stories Presents Musical Evening, "I Remember Spring" Theatricalized tales by Phil Geoffrey Bond comprise The Storefront's latest project, Phil's Friday Night Stories.

The new cabaret program will kick off Friday, Jan. 23 with a cast that features writer/director Bond as well as Lisa Asher, Brandon Cutrell, Barbara Fasano, Eric Forand, Marina MacNeal, Eric Pickering and Michael Stuart. Show time is 9 PM. According to a production release, Phil's Friday Night Stories will consist of "a short story, spoken aloud, but also 'theatricalized' through song and movement, by an ensemble company of performers." Ray Fellman will be the musical director for the first story, "I Remember Spring," which concerns the lifelong friendship of two New York City men, set against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis.

There is a $5 cover and a two-drink minimum for the performance. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street; for reservations call (212) 255-5438.
