Blair Singer's Notice Me, a new comedy about American teenagers in the era of pop-culture saturation, is enjoying its world premiere staging at Off-Broadway's The Wild Project.
Directed by Sofia Alvarez, Notice Me tells the tale of four San Fernando Valley teenagers "desperate to be noticed in the morass of our contemporary 24/7 media culture," according to production notes. "Like sound in a vacuum, their voices cry out unheard in the barren landscape of suburbia." The cast features Jason Shelton, Annabel LaLonde, Jake Green and Susan Spratt.
