Every year, BC/EFA produces a line of teddy bears representing past and present Broadway productions. Each bear is then in turn auctioned off, all the proceeds going towards BC/EFA's programs. In the past some bears have been known to fetch as much as $10,000 (The Lion King). At left are this year's bears for Flower Drum Song and The Producers. Below is the miniature puppet and bear for Avenue Q.
According to their website: "Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) is the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization.
