Directed by Richard Eyre, the production premiered in London in 2010 with Cattrall among the cast. Gross joined the "Sex and the City" star for a pre-Broadway engagement, which opened Sept. 25 at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre.
Private Lives will officially open on Broadway Nov. 17 for a limited engagement through Feb. 5, 2012. The cast also features Simon Paisley Day, Anna Madeley and Caroline Olsson.
Here is a look at the event:
The classic comedy concerns former spouses Amanda (Cattrall) and Elyot (Gross) meeting again on adjoining hotel balconies on the French Riviera — while they are on their honeymoons with their respective new spouses, played by Day (Victor) and Madeley (Sybil). Olsson plays a maid.
The design team is Rob Howell (set and costumes) and David Howe (lighting).
Director Eyre was director of London's Royal National Theatre from 1988-1997.
