News PHOTO CALL: Cast Rehearses Mamet "Unrelated" Double-Bill in Los Angeles Rehearsals are underway for the Center Theatre Group's upcoming presentation of "Two Unrelated Plays" by David Mamet, to play at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Neil Pepe directs the double-bill, which will feature The Duck Variations and the world-premiere stage production of Keep Your Pantheon. The cast includes Harold Gould and Michael Lerner (for Duck) and Jeffrey Addiss, Michael Cassidy, Steven Goldstein, Vincent Guastaferro, Dominic Hoffman, J.J. Johnston, Rod McLachlan, Ed O'Neill, David Paymer, Jonathan Rossetti and Jack Wallace (for Pantheon).

Duck Variations centers on "conversations between two elderly men who are sitting on a park bench and watching ducks," according to press notes. The ancient Rome-set Keep Your Pantheon follows "an impoverished acting company on the edge of eviction is offered a lucrative engagement and life is finally on the upswing."
