News PHOTO CALL: Elaine Stritch Opens New Show at the Carlyle; Mary-Louise Parker, Elaine Paige and More in Attendance Tony and Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch opened the Carlyle's fall season Sept. 13 with Elaine Stritch At Home at the Carlyle: Singin' Sondheim... Again. Why Not?, which will run through Oct. 8.

Stritch was last seen on Broadway opposite Bernadette Peters in the Tony nominated revival of A Little Night Music during the summer of 2010.Prior to A Little Night Music, Stritch's last Broadway turn was in Elaine Stritch at Liberty for which she won a Tony, Drama Desk, and Emmy Award. She also received an Emmy award for her guest starring turn as Jack Donaghy's mother on the NBC hit sitcom, "30 Rock".
