The cast of Free to Be You and Me — Robert Ari, Debbie Gravitte, Daphne Rubin-Vega and Keith Nobbs — take their opening night bow June 13 in the Drama Dept.'s new musical revue, directed by playwright Douglas Carter Beane.

Free to Be You and Me is a production based on the cult album of the same name, featuring songs by Marlo Thomas, Peter Stone, Herb Gardner Carl Reiner, Carol Hall, Sheldon Harnick and Shel Silverstein. The whimisical kids tunes include "Don't Dress Your Cat in an Apron," "Dudley Pippen and the Principal," "When We Grow Up," "My Dog is a Plumber," "William's Doll" and "It's Alright to Cry." Free to Be You and Me plays through June 30.
