Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group has begun rehearsals for its upcoming production of Danai Gurira's Eclipsed, to play the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Director Robert O'Hara reteams with his In the Continuum collaborator on this new work set in war-torn Liberia. The show runs Sept. 13-Oct. 18. Edwina Findley, Miriam Glover, Michael Hyatt, Kelly M. Jenrette and Bahni Turpin star in the work about "The 'wives' of a rebel commanding officer form an unlikely community in the hostile battle zone," according to CTG notes. "Their world is transformed by the arrival of two newcomers and the return of a former 'wife' turned rebel soldier. How does each woman survive during a vicious conflict fought primarily by boys and men?"
