Three thousand high school theatre students, teachers and professional artists converged on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the last week in June for Thespian Festival 2013, the Educational Theatre Association’s annual celebration of school theatre.
The Festival showcases the work of some of the strongest high school theatre programs in North America, all affiliated with EdTA’s International Thespian Society, and offers more than a hundred workshops in acting, directing, musical theatre, playwriting, dance, improv and technical theatre.
