Ken Rus Schmoll directs the play, previously seen Off-Off-Broadway in a 13P production. The new mounting, which began previews Oct. 19 at the downtown Off-Broadway venue, is currently slated to run through Nov. 26. Parisse plays a female colleague opposite a young American businessman (played by Zak Orth). Their meeting at an airport begins a "surreal and unsettling journey in a country where he does not speak the language," according to a release.
Joining Parisse and Orth (Misalliance, Major Barbara) in the cast are Liam Craig (Aunt Dan and Lemon), Gibson Frazier (Heddatron), Nina Hellman (Trouble In Paradise) and Ken Marks (Stuff Happens, After The Fall).
At left: Annie Parisse and playwright Anne Washburn; Nina Hellman, Zak Orth and director Ken Rus Schmoll; Gibson Frazier and Liam Craig; artistic director Douglas Aibel and Ken Marks; brothers Anthony and Adam Rapp.
