News PHOTO CALL: It Started With a Dream: Coleman Plays Carnegie Hall Cy Coleman, with his wife Shelby, celebrated his Carnegie Hall debut - as a composer (he made his debut as a pianist at age 10) - Jan. 18. The New York Pops played the first all-Coleman evening at the Hall, It Started With a Dream — Celebrating Cy Coleman, with performers from the original Broadway casts of such hit shows as City of Angels, Barnum, Will Rogers Follies and The Life, as well as a preview of the Dutch production of Grace. Coleman himself performed the title tune.
