John Cariani, the actor who earned glowing reviews and a Tony nomination for his frenetic portrayal of Motel the Tailor in Fiddler on the Roof, saw his play Almost, Maine receive its New York premiere on Jan. 12.

Almost, Maine centers around "the residents of a small, northern town who are falling in and out of love at an alarming rate," according to production notes. At left, co-stars Justin Hagan and Miriam Shor (Dedication, or the Stuff of Dreams) are seen after the show above audience member Linda Eder and her boyfriend Craig Wollman.
