The Shubert Organization is a major force on Broadway, among other activities, the company produces productions, provides grants and owns 16 Broadway theatres. The UJA-Federation is the world’s largest local philanthropy community and helps sustain the activities of more than 100 health, human-service, educational, and community agencies, according to the group's website.
