Donna Murphy and Faith Prince were among the high-powered talent who gave homage to Adolph Green at his Dec. 3 memorial. Murphy reprised her Encores! rendering of "One Hundred Easy Ways" from Wonderful Town as Prince returned to her Tony-nominated Broadway show, Bells Are Ringing, with "The Party's Over" and "I'm Goin' Back."

Green, the legendary Broadway lyricist-librettist and screenwriter who, with partner Betty Comden, created On the Town, Bells Are Ringing, On the 20th Century and "Singin' in the Rain," died Oct. 24. The theatre community gathered together Dec. 3 at the Shubert Theatre to remember him with songs from his career and anecdotes from his very full life.
