Are these the faces of two Tony Award winners? Susan Stroman (left) and Karen Ziemba (pictured with Tony Award presenter Jack Wagner) would take home Tony Awards for Contact, Stroman for Best Choreography and Best Musical, Ziemba for Best Featured Actress. The 2000 Tony Awards, awarded June 4, honored Copenhagen and Contact as the best of Broadway with Michael Blakemore taking home both director prizes (the first time in Tony history), Mitchell and Headley winning the top acting awards and Stroman nabbing best choreography for Contact.
