News PHOTO CALL: Trust, With Braff, Foster, Graynor and Cannavale, Opens Off-Broadway The world premiere of Paul Weitz's Trust — starring Zach Braff ("Scrubs"), Bobby Cannavale (Tony nominee for Mauritius), Tony winner Sutton Foster (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek the Musical) and Ari Graynor (The Little Dog Laughed) — officially opened at Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre Aug. 12 following previews that began July 23.

The production, which had originally been scheduled to run through Sept. 5, recently announced an extension to Sept. 12. Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's Becky Shaw, directs.

"Harry is rich," according to production notes. "Harry is married. But when Harry doesn't trust any of it is enough, he looks to find something real in the most unlikely of places." The dark comedy "explores the corrosive effect of power on relationships and the hope we need to make them better."
