Classic Arts News Photo Journal: Samson et Dalila at Washington National Opera Washington National Opera's revival of Saint-SaêŠns' Samson et Dalila opened on May 14 and runs through June 4.
The production was originally staged by Giancarlo del Monaco; Peter McClintock directed the revival. Sets and costumes are by Michael Scott; Joan Sullivan-Genthe is the lighting designer.

Tenor Carl Tanner plays Samson; mezzo-soprano Olga Borodina is Dalila. The cast also includes Alan Held as the High Priest of Dagon and Kyle Ketelsen as Abimelech. Giovanni Reggioli is the conductor.
