Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, better known to the world at-large as a rap impresario and record producer, took on a whole new challenge as he stepped into the role of Walter Lee Younger (a role made famous by Sidney Poitier) in the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun.

Despite mixed notices and a brief stomach ailment that kept him offstage for several performances, Combs braved the critics and came out on top: his prescence helped make the production a hit as it recouped its investment a mere two months after opening night and broke weekly box office records at the Royale Theatre.
