News   PHOTO RECALL: Ovid Underwater? Chicago wonder-woman director Mary Zimmerman finally got to create in New York the kind of critical and box office magic she is used to sparking back home when Second Stage presented her adaptation of Ovid's myths, Metamorphoses.

The production featured a 27-foot wide rectangular pool as the actors' stage and proved welcome enough to move to Broadway's Circle in the Square come 2002.
