Tony Award winner Phyllis Newman will participate in a talkback following the Nov. 20 matinee performance of Bells Are Ringing at New York City Center.

Newman, who understudied Judy Holliday in the original 1956 production of that classic musical, will be joined by her co-star, George S. Irving. The two will offer reminiscences about the original Broadway mounting.

The City Center Encores! production of Bells Are Ringing stars three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, with Tony Award-winning director-choreographer Kathleen Marshall at the helm.

The beloved musical comedy boasts a score by Tony-winning composer Jule Styne, with book and lyrics by the Tony Award-winning team of Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Newman was married to the late Green.
