News Planet Banana Orbits Ars Nova in Manhattan March 18-May 7 Earthlings of New York City can visit Planet Banana at Ars Nova beginning March 18. Virginia Scott directs the attraction, which runs until May 7.

In Planet Banana, an act playing a club called Heaven features Clarke McFarlane and Brazilian chanteuse Silvia Machete, who initiate the audience in an evening of "European-style fun, complete with aerial stunts, musical mayhem and burning hot romance." The Daniel Jodocy Trio provides live music for the act, which has toured in 17 countries over the last four years, winning awards in France, Germany and Switzerland.

  The shows includes set design by David Korins, lighting design by Ben Stanton, costume design by Angela Wendt and sound design by Jorge Muelle.
