News Playbill On-Line Seeks Regional Correspondents As part of Playbill On-Line's ongoing effort to expand our coverage of theatre beyond New York, we are seeking experienced freelance reporters to write theatre news in each of the following regions: Southern California (Los Angeles and San Diego), Chicago, Seattle, Texas and Florida.

As part of Playbill On-Line's ongoing effort to expand our coverage of theatre beyond New York, we are seeking experienced freelance reporters to write theatre news in each of the following regions: Southern California (Los Angeles and San Diego), Chicago, Seattle, Texas and Florida.

We seek one freelancer from each of those regions to file 10-15 short news stories and briefs each week. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Applicants should send resumes and three published theatre-related clips demonstrating the following:

1) Your knowledge of theatre in your region.

2) Your experience in writing news stories about it. 3) Your familiarity with computers (Mac, Wordperfect experience preferred) and the internet.

We will consider only writers with theatre news-writing experience. We are not seeking critics or New York area writers.
