Classic Arts News Plšcido Domingo to Sing at Washington Nationals' Home Opener Tenor Plšcido Domingo, the general director of the Washington National Opera, will sing the national anthem at the Washington Nationals' first home game of the year on April 11.
The baseball team, which moved to Washington from Montreal last year, plays at RFK Stadium in Southeast Washington. The game begins at 1:05 p.m.

According to the WNO, the Spanish-born Domingo is a baseball fan. He also appeared at a Nationals game last fall.

The game will be broadcast live on Washington's WDCA-TV, UPN 20.
