Broadway News Prince of Broadway Extends Limited Engagement The Broadway musical revue celebrating Harold Prince continues at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Prince of Broadway has extended its limited engagement at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The Manhattan Theatre Club production will now run through October 29 (instead of the previously announced October 22).

Performances began August 3 ahead of an August 24 official opening.

The show, which showcases numbers from some of director-producer Harold Prince’s most legendary productions, stars Tony Award winners Chuck Cooper and Karen Ziemba, Tony nominees Emily Skinner, Brandon Uranowitz, and Tony Yazbeck, Kaley Ann Voorhees, Michael Xavier, Janet Dacal, and Bryonha Marie Parham.

The musical features original songs, music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Bridges of Madison County), a book by two-time Tony nominee David Thompson (The Scottsboro Boys), and co-direction and choreography by five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman (The Producers
