Based on the experiences of Jeremy, P.S. 69 recounts the life of a gay substitute teacher and her Ritalin-fueled, government-neglected school children. Oh, and the teacher holds a second job as an exotic dancer.

The show won two comedy awards at the Montreal Fringe Festival 2000. Jeremy, who performs in and co-wrote the play, also won the Best Comedy 1998 award at the Montreal Fringe for her first work Was That My 15 Minutes?. Co-writer Fulham directs the production. Her last work was the recreation of Fame Takes A Holiday which played December at La MaMa E.T.C.

To be present at P.S. 69, playing at the Walker Space, 46 Walker Street (between Church and Broadway) or at Theatre-Studio, Inc., 750 Eighth Avenue (at 46th St.), call Ticket Central at (212) 279-4200.
