The cast album of the Tony-winning new Broadway Cabaret revival will be released by RCA Victor June 30.

Starring Natasha Richardson and Alan Cumming, the Sam Mendes production interpolates several Kander & Ebb songs from the 1972 film into the 1966 score. "Why Should I Wake Up?" and "Meeskite" are out; "The Money Song," "Mein Herr" and "Maybe This Time" are in, as is "I Don't Care Much." In keeping with Mendes' "environmental" staging concept, audience sounds are audible on the recording.

Originally scheduled for May 19, the release was pushed back to June 16, and was again (May 13) postponed, this time to June 30.

Record producer Jay David Saks, who produced the Grammy-winning Chicago cast album, lost time while finishing the demanding 2-CD Ragtime cast album.
