News Reading of New Musical Stand Clear of the Closing Doors Set for May 8 A reading of Stand Clear of the Closing Doors, which is billed as "A Subway Musical (and Romance)," will be presented May 8 at the TADA Theatre in Manhattan.

Part of the E.A.T. "Illuminating Artists, Notes From a Page" series, the reading will begin at 9 PM. The cast will feature Sarah Matteucci, Richard S. Rose and Paul Berman as the Conductor. Rose, who also wrote the musical, directs.

"Two strangers, a man and a woman, caught in life - or mid-life - get caught on the subway and take a musical journey through where they've been to where they're going - assisted by an all too willing train conductor," according to press notes.
