The bad news is that the acclaimed national tour of Fats Waller's Ain't Misbehavin' won't be going to Broadway when the tour ends July 21 in San Francisco. The good news is that producer PACE Theatrical Group will be sending the show out on tour again this fall, this time toplining soul stars Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.
The new tour launches Oct. 18 in Lincoln, NB.
Production spokesman Clint Bond said the Pointer Sisters' revival of the 1978 Tony winner played to excellent reviews and box office throughout the winter of 1995-96, but was designed only to tour.
