Rubin-Vega is scheduled to perform tunes from her forthcoming CD at the intimate cabaret Jan. 9, 2006. Show time is 7:30 PM. Daphne Rubin-Vega was most recently on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna in the Tropics, earning a Tony Award nomination for her performance. She was also Tony-nominated for her role as Mimi in the original company of Rent. Rubin-Vega appeared in Broadway's The Rocky Horror Show, and her Off-Broadway credits include Fucking A, Gum and Two Sisters and a Piano. On screen she has been seen in "Wild Things," "Flawless" and "Skeleton Woman." Her latest recording, "Rocket Man," is available from Emerge Records.
