MTV On-Line reports that a new animated Disney film is in the works with a score composed by former Police frontman, Sting. The film, titled Kingdom of the Sun, is reportedly based on Mark Twain's novel, The Prince and the Pauper. Disney told Playbill On-Line that the project is "two to three years away," and was unable to disclose details.
David Spade (TV's "Saturday Night Live," and the film Tommy Boy) and Eartha Kitt (archy & mehitabel) are slated to provide the main voices. Kitt is best known as one of three actresses who played Catwoman on TV's Batman and is currently providing safety messages on New York City taxis.
