The New York Theatre Barn will present The Hole, a new theatrical rock piece by Joey Murray, at the Laurie Beechman Theatre Nov. 15.

Murray also directs The Hole, which will be presented at 9:30 PM. Rob Baumgartner (Adam Lives) serves as musical director and has penned original songs for the evening.

According to press notes, The Hole is described as "a journey through a night in the life of a young actor and a Manhattan sex worker, and the company they keep. Self medicated with drugs and vodka, young New Yorkers search for validation, love, and sense of self in and around a notorious east village dive bar. Part play, part rock show, The Hole is told in three parts: the pre-party, the party, and the hangover."

The cast features pop vocalists Ari Gold and Kelly King as well as Louise Van Veenendaal, JAM Adderley, Tori Scott and Stephanie Spano.

Tickets are $18 plus a $15 food/drink minimum. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 695-6909.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located in Manhattan at 407 West 42nd Street, within the West Bank Café. *

The New York Theatre Barn is committed to creating and developing new, evocative works that are based on the principle that theatre is a collaborative art form that can only be successful when the process of the artists involved is nurtured and supported.
