Directed by Staller, the cast will feature Rory O'Malley (Leonard Charteris), Heidi Armbruster (Mrs. Grace Tranfield), Lauren Molina (Julia Craven), Daniel Jenkins (Col. Daniel Craven, V.C.), Nick Wyman (Joseph Cuthbertson), Justine Salata (Sylvia Craven) and Ed Dixon (Dr. Paramore); amNY theatre critic Matt Windman will be Narrator/Club Page.

Shaw’s wickedly witty comedy, The Philanderer, according to press notes, "follows a day in the life of a roguish gentleman (Rory O’Malley) doing his best to avoid making a commitment to either of the two women (Heidi Armbruster and Lauren Molina) who may or may not actually want him to. In The Philanderer, Shaw takes on most of the classic Shaw issues, questioning societal expectations, sex, relationships, sense of self, science, religion and politics."

Upcoming Project Shaw events include St. Patrick's Day Gala (March 17); An Oscar Wilde Evening (April 14), Heartbreak House (May 12), Getting Married (June 23), A 'Super Shaw' Evening (July 28), Village Wooing (Sept. 29), An Ibsen Evening (Oct. 27), The Millionairess (Nov. 24) and Major Barbara (Dec. 22).

Now in its ninth year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches).

Symphony Space’s Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street). Tickets, priced $30 (senior discounts and Student Rush available), may be purchased by calling (212) 352-3101 or online at symphonyspace.org.
