The first half of the program includes Rodgers and Hammerstein tunes from The Sound of Music, The King and I and Cinderella. The second portion of the evening features a concert reading of the stage version of Andrews and Emma Walton's children's book, Simeon's Gift. In addition to Andrews, Gift of Music also boasts the talents of Anne Runolfsson, Kevin Odekirk, Stephen R. Buntrock, Christiane Noll and Jubilant Sykes. Ian Fraser conducts the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Andrews, who was born in Surrey, England, starred on Broadway in the original productions of The Boyfriend, My Fair Lady and Camelot, the stage version of Victor/Victoria, and in the Off-Broadway Stephen Sondheim revue, Putting It Together. She won an Academy Award for her work in "Mary Poppins" and Oscar nominations for "The Sound of Music" and "Victor/Victoria."
