Holmes won 1986 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score for the musical comedy that boasts an English music hall setting. The musical is based on the unfinished novel by Charles Dickens and invites audience members to decide the ending. The summer stock revival of the musical whodunnit features Evan Thompson, Michael Barra, Edwin Cahill, Jenn Thompson, Natasha Harper, Rachel Baum, Sherri Norige, Jean Tafler, Corey Johnson, R. Bruce Connelly, Joan Shepard, Owen Thompson, Warren Kelley, Ralph Colon, Sue Birch, Christine Snitkin, Donna Schilke, Abby Parker, John C. Baker, Frank Calamaro, Tara Michelle Newinsky, Courtney Shaw, Elizabeth Munn, George Lombardo and Lori Conley.

Julia Kiley directs. James Bassi is musical director. Billy Johnstone is choreographer.

Designers are Sebastien Grouard (scenic), Marcus Abbott (lighting), Adam Elander (sound) and Jennie Cleaver (costume).

The final River Rep performance of Drood is Aug. 7. Performances began July 21. The season continues there with Noel Coward's Present Laughter, followed by David Auburn's Proof.
