The series follows Oscar, a hopelessly underachieving hot dog, and his perpetually awkward human roommate, Peter Weiner, as they and their friends "search for love and purpose in a contemporary 1960's New York City," according to press notes.

The series cast features Liz Fye (“Kings," “One Life to Live”), Sabrina Jacob, Marjorie LeWit, Patrick O’Neill (Chicago national tour), Kelly Ross, Dante Russo (Newsies NYC Reading) and Katherine Tokarz (Leap of Faith, Rock of Ages).
