News Rutanya Alda, Allan Greenberg and Frank Gauthier Will Investigate Murder at the Howard Johnson's Off-Broadway Murder at the Howard Johnson's, a suspenseful comedy by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick, will begin previews at the Studio Theatre (Theatre Row Theatre) Sept. 13.

The three-member cast comprises Rutanya Alda (best known for her performances in "The Deer Hunter" and for the cult-classic "Mommie Dearest," where she played housekeeper Carol Ann), Allan Greenberg and Frank Gauthier. Eddie Lew directs.

Murder at the Howard Johnson's is described as a "quirky, hilarious and suspenseful comedy about a love triangle at a Howard Johnson’s Motor Lodge."

Murder at the Howard Johnson's played a 14-performance run at Broadway's John Golden Theatre in May 1979. The cast included Bob Dishy, Tony Roberts and Joyce Van Patten.

Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
