Due to ticket demand, the producers of Ruthless! The Musical have announced an extension through September 10. The Off-Broadway show opened July 13, 2015.

Ruthless! features a book and lyrics by Joel Paley with music by Marvin Laird. Paley directed the original production of the show when it first appeared Off-Broadway 24 years ago at the Players Theatre.

Inspired by shows like The Bad Seed, Gypsy and All About Eve; Ruthless! follows a show business-obsessed eight-year-old who will stop at nothing to land the lead role in her school play. Actresses who have played the diabolical Tina in past productions include Britney Spears, Natalie Portman and Laura Bell Bundy.

The current cast of the Off-Broadway engagement features Kim Maresca, Paul Pecorino, Rita McKenzie, Andrea McCullough, Jennifer Diamond and Tori Murray.
