Adapted by Michael Raver and directed by Quin Gordon, the production will officially open Aug. 10.

The cast features Sam Underwood, Roger Clark, William Connell, Ned Noyes, Hanley Smith and Sydney Shepherd.

"In an era when social media, human transparency and blurring of sexual boundaries are ever-present, The Picture of Dorian Gray has prophetically become a thesis statement for a new generation," according to production notes. "A pure soul ultimately destroyed by an obsession with self-image, Dorian Gray himself is almost a Victorian Narcissus, his infatuating charms radically poisoning all of London by way of his Faustian pact to remain young and beautiful."

The production also features set design by Keven Lock, lighting design by David A. Sexton, sound design by Janie Bullard, costume design by Ryan Park and casting by Karyn Casl. The production stage manager is Samantha Gallardo and Wiley Basho Gorn is the assistant director.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is produced in association with Jack Sharkey, and is an Actors' Equity Approved Showcase. Performances continue through Aug. 19.

The Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center is located at 480 West 42nd Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets, priced $18, are available by visiting ticketcentral.com or by calling (212) 279-4200.
