The Oct. 4 benefit will be held at Touch Nightclub in Manhattan.
The 8 PM event will boast the talents of Ramirez, Tony Award nominee Montego Glover (Memphis), Tony Award nominee Robin DeJesus (In the Heights, La Cage), Emmy Award winner Michael Park ("As the World Turns"), Christopher Jackson (In the Heights), Billy Porter (Angels in America) and Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture). Audra McDonald and other special guests are also scheduled to appear.
The evening will feature direction by Schele Willliams and musical direction by Mary Mitchell Campbell. All proceeds will benefit the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, which honors the close friend of Ramirez and Kressley, who was lost to liver cancer in 2008.
"This special evening and gathering of friends was created in the memory of our dear friend, Al – who loved Broadway and a great pair of heels! We have amazing talent that will be up close and personal in a small venue, it will truly be a night of celebration," said Kressley in a statement. "In addition to the celebration we have planned, this is a very personal evening for us. We are really looking forward to sharing our stories and memories of Al while singing memorable Broadway songs that he loved and that we love as well!" added Ramirez.
