News Sean Hayes Books Next Television Role on CBS Promises, Promises and "Will & Grace" star Sean Hayes will return to television as a series regular on the CBS sitcom "The Millers," the network announced July 8.

Emmy Award winner Hayes, who last appeared in the short-lived NBC series "Sean Saves the World," is set to portray Kip Withers, the new best friend to Margo Martindale, who plays Carol Miller. Kip serves a new source of friction for Carol’s son, Nathan, played by Will Arnett. Hayes character will be introduced during the Season Two premiere of "The Millers," which airs Oct. 30 at 8:30 PM.

"After years of being a fan and hearing from others how wonderful he is to work with, I couldn't be more excited about Sean Hayes joining 'The Millers,'" said Greg Garcia, series creator and executive producer, in a statement. "The thought of he and Margo Martindale as BFFs makes me smile every time I think about it. We're only just getting started, and writing this season's stories has been a blast."

"The Millers" also stars Beau Bridges, Jayma Mays, JB Smoove, Nelson Franklin and Lulu Wilson.
