Chi-town's infamous comedy revue troupe, Second City, opens its 84th revue - The Psychopath Not Taken, for a run beginning Dec. 20.
Psychopath is filled with everyday gods and devils -- stricken superheroes, reluctant cultists, aging gymnasts and snippy psychics all thrown into the horrifying terror of a high school reunion.
Joseph Jefferson winner Mick Napier helms the revue after successful turns with other Second City productions: Paradigm Lost, Co-Ed Prison Sluts, RiverAnts! , as well as One Woman Shoe at NY's La MaMa and the independent film, "Fatty Drives the Bus."
Recent revues at the Chicago Second City include: Promise Keepers, Losers Weepers, Everyone's Coming Out, Rosie!, and Whitney Houston, We Have A Problem!.
Performances for The Psychopath Not Taken begin on Dec. 20 for an open-ended run on Second City's Mainstage. For tickets ($12-$16) or more information, call (312) 337-3992. -- By Sean McGrath
