Paula Cizmar, Catherine Filloux, Gail Kriegel, Carol K. Mack, Ruth Margraff, Anna Deavere Smith and Susan Yankowitz have all penned monologues for the Jan. 21, 2008 evening. Show time is 8 PM. The monologues, according to the Y, are based on "personal interviews with and oral histories of seven women from Russia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Guatemala and Cambodia who overcame injustice to become leaders." The workshop is being presented by Vital Voices Global Partnership.
The cast of actors who will bring voice to these monologues will be announced at a later date.
