News Shakespeare, Ruhl, Ayckbourn and Rebeck Will Find Home at Philly's Wilma in 2010-11 The Wilma Theater in Philadelphia announced three Philly premieres and a season-opener of Macbeth for its 2010-11 season.

The bloody tragedy of Macbeth, in fall 2010, will be the theatre's first Shakespearean production in its 31-season history. Co-artistic director Blanka Zizka will direct. Macbeth will be followed by the Off-Broadway showbiz comedy The Understudy by Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck, directed by co-artistic director Jiri Zizka (December 2010-January 2011); In the Next Room, or the vibrator play by Pulitzer Prize nominee Sarah Ruhl, directed by Blanka Zizka (March-April 2011); and My Wonderful Day, the most recent work by Tony Award winner Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Jiri Zizka (May-June 2011).
