Emmy Award winner Charles Shaughnessy (TV's "The Nanny" and Broadway's Urinetown) and Jeremy Bobb (Encores! Finian's Rainbow) will star in Shaffer's Tony-winning thriller Sleuth. Directed by Jesse Berger, the production will play the Pittsfield, MA, venue July 16-Aug. 1. Opening is July 19.
Mark H. Dold, recently seen in the West Coast premiere of Opus at the Old Globe, will star as C.S. Lewis opposite the Sigmund Freud of Martin Rayner in St. Germain's Freud's Last Session, which will begin previews on BSC's Stage 2 June 10. Directed by Tyler Marchant, the production will run through June 28 with a press opening on June 14.

As previously announced, the Pittsfield, MA, company — under the leadership of artistic director Julianne Boyd and producing director Richard M. Parison, Jr. — will kick off the Mainstage season June 17 with Carousel. Artistic director Boyd will helm the production, which will feature choreography by Joshua Bergasse and musical direction by Darren R. Cohen. Performances will continue through July 11. The cast will feature Aaron Ramey as Billy Bigelow, Patricia Noonan as Julie Jordan, Christopher Innvar as Jigger, Sara Jean Ford as Carrie Pipperidge, Todd Buonopane as Mr. Snow and Teri Ralston as Nettie Fowler. Also in the cast are Daniel Marcus as the Starkeeper, Leslie Becker as Mrs. Mullins, Edmund Bagnell, Al Blackstone, Daniel Kermidas, Kaitlynn Kleinman, Christy Morton, Ronnie Nelson, Neal O'Brien, Sarah O'Gleby, Kristen Paulicelli, Todd Thurston and Peggy Pharr Wilson.
Williams' Streetcar will conclude the Mainstage summer season, playing Aug. 6-29. Three-time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie will star as Blanche DuBois opposite Christopher Innvar as Stanley, with Sara Surrey as Stella and Kevin Carolan as Mitch. Also in the cast are Emily Boyd, Miles Jacoby, John Juback, Chavez Ravine, Thom Rivera and Elizabeth Rouse. Julianne Boyd directs.
