Opening April 25 at the downtown Chicago Cultural Center, Captain Brassbound's Conversion is the latest in the theater's series of free staged readings by Equity actors. A top-notch cast led by Robert Scogin tackle this 1901 saga of a world traveler (played by Belinda Bremner). Journeying through Arab badlands, she encounters a sheikh who has sworn to kill all Christians who fall into his hands.
