CHICAGO--ShawChicago continues its much-praised exploration of the lesser known works of George Bernard Shaw. Opening April 25 at the downtown Chicago Cultural Center, Captain Brassbound's Conversion is the latest in the theater's series of free staged readings by Equity actors. A top-notch cast led by Robert Scogin tackle this 1901 saga of a world traveler (played by Belinda Bremner). Journeying through Arab badlands, she encounters a sheikh who has sworn to kill all Christians who fall into his hands.
