News Sheila Callaghan's Roadkill Confidential to Strike At Clubbed Thumb in September Roadkill Confidential, the world premiere of "a noir-ish meditation on brutality" by Sheila Callaghan, will be presented by the Obie-winning Clubbed Thumb theatre company Sept. 7-28.

The play will officially open Sept. 10 and will perform at the 3LD Art & Technology Center. Kip Fagan will direct a cast including Alex Anfanger, Rebecca Henderson, Polly Lee and Danny Mastrogiorgio.

The creative team will comprise Peter Ksander (set design), Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew (lighting design), Jessica Pabst (costume design), Bart Fasbender (sound design) and Shaun Irons and Lauren Petty (video design).

According to press notes, "A possibly rogue G-man stalks a stalled-out artist with a suspicious affinity for accident victims. Traps are set, traps are sprung, and everyone gets caught."

Callaghan is currently a writer for the Showtime series "United States of Tara." Her other plays include Scab, Crawl Fade To White, Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake), Dead City, Lascivious Something and That Pretty Pretty; or, The Rape Play.
